The Gift Experience Director is responsible for creating a surprise-and-delight, goosebumps-inducing gift invitation experience for each recipient of an Alyce gift invitation. Drawing heavily on the B2C world, eye-catching and bespoke invitation methods are fully created, from concept to design and manufacturing through the leadership, guidance and resource management of the Gift Invitation Experience Director. While each invitation type is novel, consistent brand elements should unite the effort in a way that evokes the feeling of seeing the Tiffany’s robin-egg blue: premium, thoughtful, exciting and unique. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create overall brand narrative and guidelines for invitation development
• Produce novel gift invitation types that inspire people to share their “unboxing” experience without prompting because it evokes such surprise and delight
• Manage the design and manufacturing partners to execute timely delivery of new invitation options
• Vet, select and collaborate with partners that align to our sustainability and social impact mission
• Create long-term planning process and execute to the adherence of the project management schedule

REQUIREMENTS

• 7-10 years of experience in product or industrial design, ideally for a CPG retailer or similar consumer-oriented retail brand
• Expertise in managing multiple partnerships and design resources simultaneously
• Highly detail-oriented and relentlessly advocating on behalf of the customer experience
• Experience in setting project completion dates and hitting them
• Thinking “outside the box” and developing novel physical design experiences
