With our POS at the core and the additional functionality of credit card processing, loyalty programs, gift cards, online ordering, inventory management and more, Toast makes it easier for restaurant owners and operators to optimize their business.

The Field Service Associate supports multiple organizations across Toast by fulfilling service requests for customers who have already gone live with Toast. Service requests may include scheduling onsite/remote field implementation support, remote Menu/Module support, and generating orders for hardware upsells that include install support. The Field Service Team is heavily involved with generating revenue in the post-live phase of implementation.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with customers to schedule field service requests for customers that have gone live with toast
  • Ally with Restaurant Success Managers to certify the experience of the customer is successful
  • Work closely with the Support team
  • Set and, at times, re-set expectations with the customer on the remediation process itself along with providing excellent customer service support
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through following up after job completion
  • Record timing and accurate service notes for all dispatched service cases to ensure proper record-keeping
  • Generate and keep track of customer billings to ensure accuracy

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer support or scheduling role
  • Technical service scheduling experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Strong phone and listening skills
  • Excellent follow up and problem solving skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment and is results oriented to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Thrive in a team environment
