Who you are

You are a highly organized and effective Executive Assistant with a strong ability to instill trust in stakeholders and external partners. You are poised and articulate. You are a skilled communicator who engages naturally and connects with others by knowing your audience. You love the various facets of what Executive Assistant roles can offer and in that you act with tact and with a clear sense of ownership. Understanding, and being ahead of your key internal & external partners’ needs is not only a talent but something that you find enjoyment in. You are an expert at orchestrating multiple tasks and thrive in fast-paced, constantly changing environments. You're also proactive and know when to jump-in to complete a task without prompting. You are able to pivot and keep momentum going when priorities are competing. With all of this comes at least 4+ years of supporting senior level leadership.

Surely you are detail-oriented in your day to day responsibilities and highly accountable, but you get jazzed when you can be part of something bigger and have gained the confidence and trust from your colleagues and teams as a trusted partner.

What the role is

In this Executive Assistant role, you will serve as a seamless extension of our CEO & COO through the day-to-day operations of the company. You will swiftly and skillfully manage the calendars of our CEO & COO and help problem-solve and create efficiencies.

You will also partner with the greater Leadership team on meeting preparation and material coordination to ensure effective use of time and resources. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Administrative experience to take it to the next level and be part of exciting company initiatives & events. This means that you might also coordinate, prep, and confirm external speakers as needed for company and external events. You will be an active point of contact and work alongside various colleagues to help ensure company events such as weekly meetings, annual meetings, and larger team conferences are well-run.

Our people and our culture are very important to us so not only will you be an important part of it, you will be a champion for Drizly's culture. You can have a wonderful impact on the continued success of Drizly as a remote-first company and help represent our culture in various ways through various channels. You are a positive force culturally and organizationally and you will be very active in team building and engagement. You will help reinforce best practices and help support colleagues and partners.

In this role you will:

  • Help our CEO & COO drive even more efficiency in their day to day by being a wonderful partner to them
  • Work closely with the People team as well as the Chief of Staff to assist in running Drizly day-to-day
  • Drive Drizly team building and engagement by planning and running company-wide events (including swag & gifts) and other activities with our People Team and Chief of Staff
  • Be a true support and enabler for colleagues rather than a gatekeeper so that people are comfortable communicating with you
  • Partner with Marketing (PR, Brand), IT, People Operations, Analytics for ad hoc projects and ongoing initiatives
  • Acquire an understanding of business priorities to ensure you are able to proactively anticipate the needs and drive efficiencies to build additional capacity for the CEO & COO

An Insider's view of Drizly

What’s the vibe like in the office?

Working at Drizly is unlike anywhere I have ever worked before. We are a welcoming bunch of super intelligent people that are all working towards the same goals. We have a lively and dynamic atmosphere where we encourage people to truly be themselves. We have a ton fun, but we do what we're here to do- make Drizly the option for alcohol, period.

Account Executive

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

I work closely with the product and engineering teams on a daily basis to design features for the people who use our products. I often loop in other teams to get their expertise on our users and different parts of the business. Everyone is constantly striving to make improvements and I get great ideas from people on every team at Drizly.

Product Designer

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I identified a need for deeper knowledge of alcohol when I joined Drizly’s Customer Experience team 2 years ago. With the support & encouragement of my team, I became our first Certified Cicerone® taking a new role in Category Management. Now I'm leveraging my unique experience to help build the best-in-class catalog for alcohol one beer at a time.

Merchandising Associate

How do you make yourself accessible to the rest of the team?

As I work on complex policies and laws in the alcohol space, I try to speak very plainly when explaining the history and concepts that matter to Drizly so people don’t feel intimidated. I also try to participate in as many company events and Slack discussions that I can to build relationships which should translate to being more accessible overall.

Vice President, Legal, Regulatory & Industry Affairs

How has your career grown since starting at the company?

I have helped out on the frontend, been on our infrastructure team, and worked extensively with our Rails API. In all of these roles I got to learn while doing high impact work. More recently, I was given the opportunity to be a technical lead. Drizly has made me a solid generalist that can help drive a startup’s tech forward.

Senior Software Engineer
