The Director of Professional Services is responsible for managing the delivery and business operations of all BitSight professional services. This includes ensuring that customers receive positive business outcomes from the services delivered and have a positive customer experience. This role is also responsible for defining service offerings, and assisting with marketing and selling professional services to prospective and existing customers. Additional responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, and managing a team of advisors, consultants and delivery partners. We are looking for an experienced leader with strong operational, organizational, and collaboration skills to help build and scale our Professional Services operations. 


Current services include, but are not limited to BitSight Advisor Services. BitSight Advisor Services provide dedicated or semi-dedicated resources to navigate the complexities, changes, and challenges of managing security ratings and third-party risk. Advisors help our customers scale risk and security programs, manage third-party collaboration and meet business requirements by establishing best in class Third Party Risk and Security Performance Management programs.


This position reports to the Vice President of Solutions Consulting and will partner with local and global leaders in Customer Success, Support, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure customer happiness. This position is based in Boston.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Professional Services offerings and methodologies, working closely with Marketing to generate collateral and execute campaigns.
  • Engage with customers to understand opportunities to enhance the value of the BitSight platform through services. Partner with Sales team to qualify, scope and sell engagements.
  • Manage the operations of Professional Services so that projects and deliverables are completed on-time and within budget, and at a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, resolve issues and escalate where appropriate to drive successful customer and business outcomes.
  • Consolidate and document best practices for achieving maximum value from the platform. Identify opportunities for the PS team to extend the platform by engineering reusable solutions that can be used internally and by customers to maximize the value of the platform.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leaders to incorporate best practices and PS built deliverables into the platform, and to drive the overall extensibility of the platform.
  • Forecast utilization, billings, and staffing needs (both long- and short-term)
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date profiles of skills, knowledge, and competencies for the PS team
  • Partner with various teams around the organization, including: Sales and Sales Ops, to ensure resources are aligned with short- and long-term demand
  • Report on staffing, utilization, project health, and financial performance for Senior Leadership and our Board
  • Forecast utilization, billings, and staffing needs (both long- and short-term)


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in building and running professional services organizations in B2B SaaS companies. 
  • Experience in Cyber Security, Information Security Risk and/or Third Party Risk is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability leading a customer-facing team — strong people management, coaching, and development experience.
  • Successful ownership of seven-figure revenue targets.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to leverage data to influence outcomes.
  • Proven track record of success.
  • High level of business acumen and understanding of how revenue leaders work and think.
