Director of Professional Services

Location: US Remote (or Boston, Denver, NYC office)

The Customer Success team works hand-in-hand with Development and Security leaders from Snyk’s customer organizations to advance their security program using the Snyk Developer Security Platform. Snyk is continuing to experience explosive growth across our customer install base which has led to increased demand for post-sales services to help ensure customers achieve resounding success with the Snyk platform.  

As the leader of this new department and reporting to the VP of Customer Success, the Director of Professional Services will be responsible for building and developing a team of customer-facing professionals who will deliver a world-class onboarding and implementation experience for Snyk customers. The ideal candidate is someone who has built and led a professional services team at an Enterprise B2B SaaS company and can implement a tried and tested playbook at Snyk.


Here at Snyk, you’ll spend your time:

  • Developing and evolving the Snyk Customer Onboarding Methodology, with a particular focus on complex Enterprise deployments
  • Hiring, developing and leading a team of Onboarding Specialists, Project Managers and other Technical Specialists who will partner with the account teams to accelerate customer time to value
  • Managing resourcing allocation across the team to maximize utilization and achieve gross margin targets 
  • Positioning the value of paid services offerings to existing and prospective Snyk customers
  • Working alongside Snyk’s Partner and Channel teams to build out a partner-led delivery program for Snyk implementation services
  • Partnering with cross-functional leaders across Sales, Customer Success, Product and Business Development to ensure a cohesive strategy to driving customer outcomes 

You should apply if you have

  • 7+ years of customer-facing experience in technical consulting, SaaS software implementation or program management
  • 3+ years direct management experience running a Professional Services team for a B2B Enterprise SaaS company
  • Experience building strategic partnerships and joint services offerings with System Integrators, IT staffing/consulting firms and Managed Service providers 
  • The ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into repeatable and packageable solutions
  • The ability to design and build the operational infrastructure required to support a Professional Services organization, including pricing, resource management, contracting and project tracking
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time as the job requires.

We’d especially love to hear from you if you have

  • A working knowledge of SDLC and DevOps methodologies
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
