Director of Planning
THE ROLE: We’re looking for…
The Director of Planning is responsible for running a multi area and multichannel business and managing a team of talented planners and analysts. This role reports to the SVP of Planning with the goal of successfully and accurately planning and forecasting inventory, sales and margin to ensure that our company goals are met and exceeded.
What you’ll accomplish…You will
- Work with the Merch Executives to build and execute the business plan
- Plan and forecast divisional sales, inventory, and margin to ensure we achieve and exceed our business results
- Lead effort to analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks/ opportunities by department and class
- Direct and guide process and accuracy improvements
- Review data by analyzing and making recommendations and create action plans
- Hiring, developing and retaining a talent team of analysts and planners
THE RIGHT FIT: You have…
- Over 10 years of proven success in leading and managing a planning team.
- The experience and track record of delivering to similar accomplishments
- Strong retail acumen combined with strong planning skills
- A propensity to ask questions and dig into the data.
- E-commerce Retail experience in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree
