Reporting to the VP Quality & Manufacturing the incumbent will provide overall leadership to ensure all key objectives are being achieved

The objective of this role is to create transformative, comprehensive and self-sustaining Operational Excellence capabilities, working in close collaboration with departmental functional leaders

The incumbent will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing and implementing initiatives to improve productivity, quality, customer service and / or reducing costs and complexity of build

You will set the governance for operational excellence process and programs across multiple departments, to ensure effective execution of important project timelines and to be cost focused

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence Process provides overall leadership in the development, deployment, and measurement of projects and programs to ensure attainment of key performance metrics encompassing Quality, Service, Safety and Financial performance
• The incumbent will establish a passion for operational process excellence within the Core Integrated team, with the primary focus being on delivering the key objectives for design, development, manufacture and after sales service for SharkNinja products
• You will be capable to Identify and capture business needs / opportunities through communication with stakeholders and drive innovation with respect to system, process and technology improvements
• You will be able to determine risk and to recognize operational issues / challenges and to recommend pragmatic solutions
• Capable to manage large complex projects / programs that will accelerate operational process, productivity and customer experience improvements across the relevant product categories
• You will have effective presentation and interpersonal skills meeting the needs of all levels within the organization up to and including the executive management team
• You will have a strong understanding of, and aptitude for, contingency planning, business process, change management and communication to successfully navigate to desired outcomes with minimal impact to ongoing business objectives
• Ensure approved projects are managed effectively to completion, on-time, within budget to the desired quality
• The Incumbent will partner closely with departmental leaders to ensure alignment on the relevant key objectives and help to determine customer expectations
• Ensure that the capabilities are aligned to ensure effective and successful project launches in line with the new project lifecycle process

Requirements

• BS in Business, Science, or Engineering. MBA preferable but not required
• Black Belt Six Sigma or Lean expert certification
• 10+ years progressive experience in a similar business environment
• Will have demonstrated the ability in a previous company and successfully executed a similar program of works
• Experienced across numerous roles within Design & Development, Quality Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering & Operations
• Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to succeed in a highly matrixed organization
• Ability to lead / manage multiple initiatives simultaneously is vital to success in this role
