Catalant is looking for a Director of Network Strategy & Development to lead the strategy and execution for building out our network of consultants and firms to serve our evolving customer needs. In this role, you will manage the Network Development team, composed of Network Development Analysts, Associates and Managers. The Network Development team is responsible for supporting our technology in matching the right talent to all projects posted to our external marketplace. This includes inviting experts to bid on open opportunities, evaluating expert profiles and bids, and recruiting individuals for live project needs. You will be responsible for ensuring the team is efficiently meeting customer needs by improving deal conversion rate and speed to close and driving forward our long term vision for network expansion. You must be willing to help the Network Development team structure their processes and further define measurement and success in this role. You will also be expected to mentor your team on creating successful, productive relationships internally with all partners involved in our sales cycle. As a leader on the Marketplace Strategy team, you will work closely with Sales Leaders and cross functional teams to ensure we’re best positioned to execute on the strategic needs of our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and run a core go-to-market function for the Catalant business.
What you'll do
- Own strategy and delivery for continuing to build out Catalant’s network of consultants and firms
- Drive expansion of expert marketplace offering via expert network expansion, including expansion into new geographies, functions and industry verticals
- Directly manage 3 Network Development Managers and oversee broader team of 20+ NDAs
- Own recruiting, coaching and ongoing performance management of Network Development team
- Continue to iterate and develop metrics for evaluating individual performance of team members
- Manage operating cadence of the team, including best practices for executing the matching flow
- Support Marketplace Operations team in driving increased efficiency of the tech platform
- Collaborate with Sales leadership team to inform overall Network strategy
What you'll bring
- 10+ years of work experience, 5+ years building, managing and growing effective teams
- Experience in management consulting or other professional services role preferred, but also open to individuals who have built large teams within high growth tech companies
- Proven ability to collaborate and partner with cross functional teams to execute on shared goals
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of the organization
- Passion for business strategy, and ability to problem-solve with a diverse set of executives from a broad set of industries and functional areas
- Operationally strong in terms of identifying and managing metrics
