Catalant is hiring a Director of Community Engagement to help us be the top destination for the world’s best independent consultants. Today, we have the world’s largest network of highly skilled independent consultants with over 70,000 business Experts on our platform. Our experts range from former operators and management consultants to people who have built out teams and boutique consulting firms. They are the lifeblood of our business.

We’re looking for a visionary leader to join our team and lead the charge on building out our Community Engagement capabilities. This is a critical and new position that will report to the CEO for the first 3-6 months. The role will be hyper-focused on making Catalant the very best partner for independent consultants around the world. In this role, you will be focused on delivering value to our Expert Network, well beyond simply giving them access to consulting projects.

This will include:

• Helping our Experts better network with each other
• Collecting, curating, and making available independent consultant best practices,
• Spearheading the creation of offerings to help independent consultants perform their best
• Developing partnerships to help independent consultants get access to important services
• Advocate for them with our functional teams across marketing, sales, finance, legal, product and customer success
• Showcase them through our platform and digital channels 
• Coordinate community communications to keep our experts up to date on things happening at Catalant and in our market

What you'll bring:

• 8+ years of work experience
• Strong familiarity with the consulting and/or independent consultant lifestyle - this can be because you’ve worked at a consulting firm, worked as an independent consultant, or have some specific familiarity with what it’s like to do so
• Proven ability to get stuff done - this is a role where there is unlimited potential for what we can do, and we’ll be looking to you to find opportunities and deliver
• Ability to build a team - this is an opportunity to create a strategy and develop a team to deliver against it over time
• Strong cross-functional experience to work across the Catalant teams
• Strong listening and communication skills
