Job Description
The business operations (‘BizOps’) team at Flywire is responsible for identifying, prioritizing and solving the most critical business challenges in a fast paced environment. Our team uses a data driven and structured approach to drive company strategy across major business functions. We develop operational plans to enable innovative offerings and lead the execution against these recommendations. As part of the team, you will have the chance to lead critical projects end-to-end. This will include managing pivotal initiatives to presenting findings to Flywire’s leadership team! BizOps is supporting critical decisions for the future of Flywire and this role is an excellent opportunity if you want to lead the direction of a growing start up!
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess the viability of new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and revenue optimization.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive team and execute recommendations across various partners
- Working cross-functionally to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance
- Drive alignment on priorities across key business functions (e.g. sales & marketing, product, finance, payment operations) through planning and OKR cycles
- Enable Flywire to be highly data-driven as we scale by performing ad hoc analyses and building and KPI dashboards for real-time monitoring of performance, investor relations and fundraising
Qualifications
FlyMate Skills & Qualifications
- 4 - 8 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or business operations / analytics at a growth-stage startup; MBA is preferred
- A bias for action, as well as a strong sense of practicality and efficiency;
- Strong data analysis, data modeling, slide writing and presentation skills; SQL experience strongly preferred
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
