Desktop Support Technician

As a Desktop Support Technician you will contribute to the success of the Client Technology Services team.
Your role will involve:
- Implementing hardware and software installations and upgrades.
- Dedicated first responder to urgent desktop support calls (quick fix).
- Dedicated first responder to conference room issues.
- Conference room equipment maintenance, weekly checks.
- Imaging systems for new hire setups and tech refreshes.
- Equipment deployment and decommissioning.
- Staging Room maintenance (inventory checks, room organization, storage) .
In return, you will bring:
- Ability to prioritize tasks well and quickly respond to urgent incidents is required
- Some knowledge and experience of AV/Conferencing equipment and software.
- Basic hardware and Windows software troubleshooting skills
- Basic knowledge of network concepts
- Basic understanding of anti-virus technologies, spyware removal and prevention
- Basic understanding of SCCM or other imaging software
- Basic understanding of Mac OSX (a plus)
- Willingness to work independently while following guidelines and attending to details
- Excellent work ethic, professional, and a “go-getter” attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new technologies
- An innovative mindset
