Notarize is the first on-demand notary platform, allowing anyone to notarize a document online and empowering businesses to send, track and collect notarizations. In this crucial customer-facing role, you help our customers execute some of the most important transactions of their lives! What you’ll do as our Customer Support Associate:

  • Perform chat, email, and phone-based customer support
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Commitment, focus, and follow-through needed to see problems through to resolution
  • Identify platform bugs and call out appropriately
  • Provide product feedback and suggestions
  • Desire to take on additional responsibilities and grow your career
  • Other operational and administrative duties as needed based on business needs, bandwidth, and customer demands

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to diffuse tension and work out the issue at hand
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • A flexible and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to patiently help others resolve tech issues. We’re talking complex stuff...like teaching your grandma to use Facebook :)

Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule (Primarily Monday-Friday shifts starting between 8am and 12pm. Occasional weekend or evening coverage may be required)
  • Ability to work in the Boston Office (Back Bay)
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Comfort and enthusiasm for technology
