We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Customer Service Assurance Specialist to act as the interface between customers and the Information Security and Compliance functions.   This highly visible role will have a crucial input into major accounts and sales opportunities, creating and enhancing public-facing assurance collateral, being an internal security stakeholder in contractual reviews and completing audit requests on behalf of customers. 

This role will report into the Director of Audit and Assurance and provides an opportunity to combine exposure to commercial operations with broad understanding of cybersecurity and compliance across the organisation.  Snyk is truly hypergrowth, you will have the opportunity to impact positively on multi-million dollar deals in short order.

You’ll spend your time:

• Researching and creating amazing public-facing content promoting our security posture
• Representing Snyk Security on customer assurance calls and contractual negotiations, on and offline
• Researching, maintaining and enhancing our body of standard security responses
• Completing customer assurance requests and forms

You should apply if you:

• Have experience in a compliance role at a technology (ideally Cloudy) company OR have previously worked as a Solutions Engineer and would like to move into the cybersecurity industry OR have a background as a technical writer
• exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and fundamentally believe in the importance of using compliance to enable business as well as protect it
• Excellent written english and an ability to 
• Experience with cybersecurity or security assurance is beneficial, but this could be from an unconventional perspective
• Experience with contractual negotiation and an ability to dissect and redraft legal verbiage (with support from Legal!)
• Are passionate about increasing customer satisfaction and accelerating sales opportunities to completion
