Customer Care Specialist - Part Time

About the Job

We are looking for a part-time customer support rep to join the Lose It! family and provide best-in-class support to our customers. This is the ideal gig for someone who is looking for flexible hours and the possibility of full-time in the future (90 day temp-to-perm).

We are hiring in the following states: Florida (remote), Massachusetts (partially remote), New Hampshire (remote), Rhode Island (partially remote), South Carolina (remote), Texas (remote), and Virginia (remote). Applications outside these states cannot be considered at this time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Master the Lose It! product and adapt to product changes with continuous learning
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and quality responses to customers over multiple channels (email, chat, App Store reviews)
  • Troubleshoot and identify root causes of customer problems and communicate appropriately with Product/Engineering teams
  • Formulate unique work-arounds or alternative solutions to help customers find value in the product
  • Contribute to product help documentation and email templates
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in our internal processes and contribute ideas on how we can improve as a team

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience delivering amazing customer experiences
  • Hands-on experience with help-desk software such as Zendesk, Help Scout, Intercom, Salesforce (Desk), etc.
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
  • Genuinely care for the success of our customers and understand the importance of helping them thrive

  • Experience in identifying, testing, and documenting software issues is a strong plus
