TripAdvisor Rentals is seeking a Client Support Associate, who will take responsibility for resolving technical issues for Property Managers who advertise their properties. This individual will investigate bugs on our website and with API connections, working closely with our product and development teams to find resolutions for our customers. The client service associate will provide proactive support as well, improving integrations to increase conversion and monitoring trending issues in order to fix them prior to customers writing in. This position is an outstanding opportunity for a self-driven, energetic, curious person who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with customers and is able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers via email and phone with all aspects of their accounts including technical issues, general product questions and API connections
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve customer issues
  • Consult with clients on functional/technical questions and provide effective, low-touch solutions
  • Monitor day-to-day activities to ensure customers have a positive and successful relationship with TripAdvisor Rentals
  • Act as the liaison for sales/account management teams with engineering and product
  • Report bugs to the development team following documented processes, including replicating the issue when possible and providing detailed description of the problem
  • Provide feedback on product specifications and QA new features
  • Case solve quickly and effectively within a personal work queue

Required Skills:

  • High enthusiasm and interest working directly with customers and solving customer problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; high comfort level receiving inbound emails and making outbound phone calls to current customers
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details
  • Interest in working closely with our product and development teams to find long term solutions to customers’ challenges
  • Interpersonal skills with ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Takes initiative and has “go-getter” attitude
  • Ability to quickly adapt to site changes
  • Astute awareness of open issues/bugs
  • Ability to prioritize casework according to business needs and manage multiple client issues simultaneously
