Summary:
In this role you will partner with the CTO and technical teams to land key strategic initiatives, keep the team focused & executing on business priorities. You will be a critical thought leader and catalyst for activation and change management, collaborating across the business to ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution.
In this role, you'll get to:
Build strong partnerships and strategic alignment with executive leaders and key cross-functional stakeholders
Be a catalyst for driving change and accountability by ensuring there is transparency and two way communication loops between leadership and execution teams
Drive business strategy, alongside the leadership team, from development through successful execution to meet the team and Atlassian's objectives (e.g. strategic initiatives, cross-functional strategic processes, long-term vision/roadmap planning etc)
Support the CTO and technical teams in the preparation of executive & company wide internal communications, ensuring timely communication and flow of information between department's, offices/geo's while owning the inputs/outputs
Drive/oversee cross-functional projects/initiatives from development through to execution, bringing together multiple stakeholders to help drive decisions and ensure alignment
Own the teams overall operating rhythm, always looking at process improvement, systems, operational cadences
Amplify the team by helping the team become more effective and being responsible for executing special projects
Be a culture champion, building strong connections at all levels of the business in order to identify, surface, and execute on areas of culture and organizational change
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
10+ years experience in a CoS or similar position
Demonstrated experience leading high-impact projects for the business, especially those which innovate, improve business execution, and/or span multiple products and teams
Excellent cross-functional collaboration and connector skills and experience
Excellent communication skills and the ability to be influential
Excellent time management, intentional prioritization, ability to maintain and curate backlog
Experience leading transformational org/team initiatives in a Cloud Computing/SaaS environment/industry a plus
Creative problem solving (i.e. excels at identifying trends and patterns, developing root cause diagnosis, and using a diverse toolkit to address challenges and root causes)
