As a Channel Ops Manager you will work closely with our channel sales team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to support the channel sales team in achieving their goals and day to day processes. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day channel sales operations and make recommendations to the improvement of the sales process, including but not limited to Salesforce.com. This requires managing a set of business activities and processes, including deal registration, partner agreements, managing partner data and analytics, creating and validating process flows, and aligning opportunity sales strategy. You will evaluate and organize data to determine process and business related improvements and provide standardized reporting to support the business.

  • Support the Sr. Director of Global Channel Operations to create and develop mechanisms to improve channel sales efficiency
  • Maintain Channel Partner data hygiene in Salesforce and other systems.
  • Partner with Channel Sales leaders to develop KPI target
  • Manage the channel program’s deal registration process in coordination with our channel account managers and other cross functional teammates.
  • Support the strategy, implementation and continually improve the channel partner programs regionally
  • Train internal teams on new launches and workflows; identify opportunities for ongoing training
  • Assist in creating and maintaining dashboards, spreadsheets, and instructional documents.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to develop KPIs that can be tracked as part of channel reporting and partner dashboards.
  • Act as ongoing thought partner and lead strategic planning and decision-making for the Channel team through integrated analysis of external marketplace dynamics and internal/business profitability levers
  • Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with Channel leadership and other key managers of the business for the purpose of reviewing progress as well as identifying growth opportunities
  • Ensure business partners are well informed of Channel strategies and priorities; educate key stakeholders and participants about strategic plan requirements and milestones

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Channel Operations role; program/project management experience is a plus. Experience working for another fast-paced software or technology company is highly desired.
  • Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution.
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes.
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
  • Expertise in Salesforce.
  • BS or BA degree required, MBA is a plus
