Applications Administrator

Job Overview:
The Enterprise Applications Administrator will report to the Production Management Team Lead on the Business Systems team and will collaborate closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to support, configure, maintain, and improve Toast’s business applications. The role will focus on resolving end-user issues, as well as developing new solutions with a wide range of business applications, particularly with Salesforce third party integrations.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Establish and maintain guidelines and standards for application administration, development, and deployments
- Work with an agile team of administrators on the delivery of continuous improvement and strategic project initiatives supporting all of Toast’s business units
- Triage and provide technical assistance for incoming requests and issues
- Team up with internal stakeholders on handling essential administrative functions, including user account maintenance and other relevant tasks
- Collaborate on the evaluation and solutioning of new development initiatives on product backlog
- Maintain overall configurations of third party business applications
- Evaluate root cause of common issues and help prioritize solutions
- Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles
- Assist in identifying areas for improvement, analysis, and document for backlog or future enhancements
- License inventory management

- Strong customer service mindset with a desire to deliver a high quality service
- 3-5 years of experience administering Enterprise Applications in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and collaborate laterally and upwards
- Experience problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working in an ITIL environment, meeting agreed-upon SLAs
- Seeking to expand your knowledge of various business applications such as Docusign, Workato and Salesforce-integrated tools.

- Experience administering any of the following Enterprise Applications: Salesforce, Docusign, Workato and other related apps.
- Experience using Jira or similar
- Experience using version control tools (GitHub)
- Demonstrated experience of solving complex problems using a data-driven approach
- Demonstrated experience in improving processes to drive efficiency
- Action-oriented, "can do" attitude demonstrating willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions, and team results.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Critical thinking capabilities to see beyond the initial problem presented
