Our Opportunity:

We are currently looking for an Associate Director of Talent Acquisition Operations to drive strategy in the operations space to include candidate experience, recruiting coordination, process improvement, recruiter training, and TA programs. The person in this role will build a TA Ops strategy and support all aspects of Chewy’s TA hiring strategy across the enterprise. This role drives strategy and execution that supports the entire enterprise (Headquarters, Fulfillment, and Customer Service). In addition to designing and implementing the TA Ops strategy, the person in this role will manage relationships with senior stakeholders (VP+), build/lead a team, and provide meaningful updates to stakeholders in relation to achievement of KPIs.  


What You'll Do:

  • Set vision, direction, and priorities through the development and execution of a strategic TA Ops roadmap
  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of staff to drive high quality enterprise solutions at scale
  • Create programs, processes, and training to support extreme hiring growth
  • Reduce risk by ensuring that recruiting processes are clearly defined and being followed
  • Develop process documentation, workflows and standard operating procedures, and lead process improvement and process management initiatives
  • Build training and support tools for Talent Acquisition team members (and other stakeholders who utilize TA tools)
  • Remove barriers to adherence of recruiting processes and policies
  • Build programs that improve the efficiency in which TA hires internal and external talent
  • Lead experiments that drive efficiency and scale
  • Utilize analytical thinking to diagnose business challenges and identify hiring trends
  • Build repeatable, programmatic solutions to operational processes
  • Manage two to three large-scale projects that impact the enterprise as we optimize the talent acquisition operating mode

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience within Talent Acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience with recruiting operations teams, owning and executing on HR/TA/Business transformation efforts
  • Program Management experience
  • Experience regularly interfacing and communicating with executive leaders up to the C-suite
  • Ability to gather, analyze, summarize, and present data
  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading hiring in a hyper growth environment with 500+ hires/year or more, or 25-30%+ annual headcount growth
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Adept at working in a cross-functional organization with demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams across the enterprise
  • A strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
