The Hospitality Solutions team develops, markets and sells industry-leading SaaS and advertising products to our millions of hotelier and restaurateur partners worldwide, and is a significant revenue generator for the company. As the global travel sector continues to adapt and transform, Hospitality Solutions is at the forefront of developing new digital solutions – both free and paid – to support the emerging needs of our business partners.
Reporting to the Director of B2B Marketing for Hospitality Solutions, the Associate Director, Growth Marketing is responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of B2B marketing campaigns for the Hotels and Restaurants sectors worldwide across the following disciplines – CRM, onsite advertising, SEO and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), Paid Social, SEM and to a lesser extent brand marketing and PR. This marketing leader is ultimately responsible for enhancing awareness and generating demand for Tripadvisor’s B2B products across the millions of businesses in the global hospitality sector.
This role is expected to lead strategically and also be willing to meaningfully engage in operational activities across all Tripadvisor business units, especially with the Hospitality Solutions group. The Associate Director, Growth Marketing will have several direct reports, manage the B2B Marketing team’s relationship with external performance marketing agencies, and lead the comprehensive growth marketing strategy for Tripadvisor Hospitality Solutions.
What you’ll do:
Oversee and track performance of key B2B growth metrics – owner registrations, free trials started and converted, demos requested, leads generated for sales, and self-service sales across both Hotel and Restaurant customer segments worldwide
Represent growth marketing’s voice on key cross-departmental initiatives involving sales, product, engineering and other business stakeholders
Work closely with cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, product, creative, operations) to align strategies with the goals and objectives of the overall business and prioritize initiatives
In close collaboration with the CRM Operations team, leverage B2B Marketing’s extensive CRM list and platform to drive up key B2B growth metrics while keeping acquisition costs low
Develop and execute an expansion strategy to increase B2B product sales and grow revenue
Oversee strategy and execution of all Paid Search and Social campaigns to hit revenue and efficiency goals, and oversee contract and relationship with external performance marketing agency
Direct and conduct formal A/B testing plans to optimize campaigns and channels and increase key performance indicators
Develop and monitor metrics, and provide weekly channel reporting to management as well as deep-dive analytics to uncover strategic insights and action plans
Stay abreast of the competitive and market landscape and develop new initiatives as a result
Develop and foster exceptional partner relationships in support of indirect channel growth for both Hotel and Restaurant customer segments
Lead and manage the employees on the team, ensuring clear goals and accountabilities are established and achieved. Ensure individuals’ performance and development needs are met and employees are high performing and engaged.
What we are looking for?
10+ years of professional experience in marketing, with 5+ years experience in CRM marketing and strengths in at least one other B2B demand-gen channel
A results-oriented, seasoned performance marketing expert who thrives on identifying and executing large business opportunities
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or similar, MBA preferred
Strong business intuition and customer empathy
Highly analytical and detail oriented, and comfortable with forecasting
Self-motivated, able to work effectively in an autonomous environment, proactive and persistent
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with strong organizational skills
Experience collaborating with developers on technical specifications
Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
Experience in travel industry is a plus but not required
