HubSpot is looking to add a Network Professional to our growing IT team. As a Network Engineer at HubSpot, you will provide leadership in network design, deployment, maintenance, and 24x7 operational support. A successful candidate will be able to multitask in a dynamic team­ based environment demonstrating strong problem­ solving and decision­ making abilities and GSD attitude. 

Skills:

  • CCIE or equivalent certified
  • Current hands-on expertise and experience with Cisco a must have; 
  • Palo Alto and Aruba is desirable
  • VOIP and telephony experience a plus

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of Cisco IOS
  • Working knowledge of Designing and implementing Cisco WAN, LAN, Wireless and Firewall solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot internal and external data networks
  • Updates on the job knowledge by participating in educational/training opportunities, involvement in professional organizations.
  • Experience with monitoring applications, database monitoring, data encryption, web application firewalls, event monitoring and intrusion detection.
  • Experience with Dynamic Routing EIGRP, BGP, MPLS, route redistribution and HSRP
  • Experience with L2/3 Switching, HA Configurations.
  • Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls/IPSec tunnels/Anyconnect
  • Experience with QOS/traffic shaping. 
  • Experience with 2 factor authentication

In this role, you will:

  • Assist staff with problem solving and escalation procedures
  • Design, deploy, and maintain mixed vendor network infrastructure
  • Understand and follow operational policies/procedures and promote adherence to same
  • Provide technical knowledge needed to ensure safe, effective, and efficient changes to the network infrastructure
  • Assist with development of policies and procedures for maintaining network infrastructure
  • Collaborate and work closely with Systems, Infosec, and Datacenter engineering teams
  • Participation in 24/7 on­-call rotation
