Website Manager
It’s an exciting time to join the Ellevation marketing team as we transform our website into a B2B customer acquisition engine. We are looking for a Website Manager who can lead the charge in increasing our website visibility and drive qualified visitors to engage with our content, join our Community, and/or convert into a lead. In this role, you will leverage audience behavioral data, A/B testing, and SEO to deliver a seamless user experience and produce substantial increases in traffic, engagement, and conversions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead website strategy, design and implementation to advance marketing goals while reducing friction in user journeys to increase engagement, conversion and leads
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis and audience research to inform digital content strategy and editorial guidelines inclusive of SEO considerations
- Work with organizational SMEs and the Content Marketing team to edit and optimize content for brand consistency and SEO; offer content ideas based on analysis
- Support campaign planning with website traffic projections and implement tracking for across email, social, and paid channels
- Analyze performance indicators, conduct experiments and A/B testing, and leverage marketing automation software to report on and improve campaign results
- Advocate for and implement co-marketing opportunities with new and existing external partners, thought leaders, and digital publishers to maximize link-building
Within 1 month, you will:
- Gain deep understanding of our CMS, Marketing Strategy, and Analytics technologies (Pardot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, etc.)
Within 3 months, you will:
- Become proficient in our SEO opportunities and on-site audience behavior
- Identify technical gaps that are limiting our abilities to deliver an optimal user experience and address technical risks in content delivery solutions
- Develop an optimization plan outlining key areas for improvement based on best practices to increase traffic, engagement, and conversion
Within 6 months, you will:
- Establish a cadence of share outs to report on results of key experiments
- Rollout conversational marketing chat bot (Drift)
- Upgrade to latest version of Drupal
Within 12 months, you will:
- Leverage website analytics to collaborate and inform content creation, social media execution, media spend, lead nurture, and product marketing
About You:
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Technical Skills:
- 6+ years’ relevant work experience/specialized education, with minimum 3 years’ experience successfully improving website rankings with an enterprise-level Content Management System (CMS)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript
- Command of Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Optimize as well as other web optimization tools (i.e. heatmaps, A/B testing)
- Demonstrated commitment to testing, continuous improvement, and staying up to date on market trends
- Project Management Skills:
- Ability to manage external partners and vendors (i.e. Grove, Google, etc.)
- Excellent project management and campaign planning skills
