Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic, competitive therapy marketing lead to join our commercial leadership team. As VP, Marketing - Therapy you will create and define the strategy for our therapy vision map to modernizing standard of care. This role will lead the marketing efforts with cross functional partners to define product strategies that shift how physicians think about, and manage POCUS today. You will create complex translations into consistent go-to-market planning, build business plans that will lead to new product lines and business opportunities, and serve as a thought leader to the executive team. We are looking for someone who is highly strategic, has strong project management skills, and can influence cross-functionally with sales, marketing, clinical, regulatory and product teams, as well as provide guidance to executive leadership.

As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: 

  • Lead customer needs discovery and prioritization through market analysis and physician engagement 
  • Define KOL management to create product market access and growth strategies across multiple therapies.
  • Lead the development of both upstream and downstream marketing strategy in partnership with sales, global marketing, clinical, regulatory, and product
  • Build business plans that will lead to new product lines and business opportunities
  • Create competitive analyses based on business dynamics and market changes that will inform product decisions
  • Perform a broad variety of tasks in support of the role and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Advanced degree preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in a Marketing, Medical / Clinical Affairs or Product Marketing role
  • Experience working within a commercial healthcare organization, selling to large health systems, provider networks and IDNs
  • Experience growing and evangelizing emerging medical device products 
  • Managed and aligned cross-functional partnerships within clinical leadership to the Commercial organization for development of marketing materials, medical and sales training, regulatory review, and opinion leader relationships
  • Proven experience leading through influence and working closely with cross-functional leadership, including the Executive Team
  • Ability to synthesize data to create sound business & strategy recommendations
  • Proven track record developing methods to measure and systemize Marketing KPIs and leading change management for internal teams and customers

  • Experience working in a start-up/ start-up environment with hands on experience
