Technical Writer
Mission
The Klaviyo Academy team provides critical how-to guides and resources for the Klaviyo customer base.
Growing ecommerce and online service companies turn to us to help them better communicate with their customers. As a technical writer at Klaviyo, you cultivate expertise in our customers and their needs, learn how ecommerce businesses work inside and out, and translate that into helpful guides, videos, and other material that helps our customers grow.
Core responsibilities
Identify documentation and guide needs
You’ll work with other tech writers, as well as members of other teams, and use your own research skills to identify what kinds of documentation and guides we need. In this role you’ll be writing a variety of content - from technical how-to articles, to training content to long-form guides to help our customers understand the business and product elements that can be brought together to bring them success.
Publish new material that helps businesses grow and use Klaviyo (written and video)
As you grow on the tech writing team, you’ll use a variety of mediums to communicate with our customers. We publish written guides, as well as videos and an occasional podcast to help us communicate with our customers. We work to make sure that our help center and documentation is not a place where customers occasionally visit, but a critical resource in their journey. It’s more than just a technical reference, but productive how-to guides that help them accomplish their goals.
