The Opportunity
Rapid7’s Customer Lifecycle Marketing Team is responsible for marketing programs that guide and delight customers through all phases of their Rapid7 journey. As the Sr. Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing impact-driving marketing campaigns in partnership with many cross-functional teams across Marketing, Customer Success/Customer Experience, Support, and Product Management/UX to ensure a cohesive and positive experience across customer touchpoints. As a deep expert on customers, their attributes, behaviors and needs, you will lead and advocate for improvements in our customer relationships and customers’ ability to achieve value from our products.
Responsibilities
Customer Lifetime Value Maximization: Create, manage and track integrated, cross-channel campaigns across the lifecycle to guide customers to achieving success during and post-onboarding - helping them achieve key usage milestones and unlock the full product value
Customer Communications: Develop a cohesive communication plan to our existing customer base, driving a best-in-class customer experience across cross-channel touchpoints.
Customer Analytics: Develop a cohesive communication plan to our existing customer base, driving a best-in-class customer experience across cross-channel touchpoints.
Project Management: Operate as the organizer, manager, and leader of cross-functional projects.
Evangelism: Be an evangelist and spokesperson for Rapid7’s customer, and advocate for a customer-first mindset.
Ongoing Improvement: Champion the effort to continuously advance the effectiveness of our customer marketing strategies, tactics and systems.
Job Requirements:
Highly customer focused and oriented
5+ years in customer marketing
Expertise in direct digital marketing best practices, including email marketing, social media, retargeting and digital personalization
Strong analytical background, naturally inquisitive and always seeking answers
High degree of emotional intelligence, able to empathize with customers as well as collaborate effectively across the organization
Results-driven with demonstrated track record of delivering against customer and business KPIs
Proven success with managing projects
Available for occasional travel to industry events as needed
B2B marketing experience with technology preferred
