As Social Media Manager at LeanIX, you will manage all of our customer/prospect-facing social media channels. You will grow our followers, engage and retain them, and finally be part of converting them not only into customers, but promoters and fans of our company. You will drive the company's global social strategy from the U.S., working closely with the team in Germany to execute social media in both North America and EMEA. With creativity and good planning, you will use best practices and adapt the newest trends to build and convert a digital audience. Become our voice in the Enterprise Architecture community and represent the best Enterprise Architecture solution in the market.


  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence especially on Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • With a strong understanding of our tool and technology, you will create appealing and engaging content to develop brand awareness and online reputation
  • Participate in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from our customers and leads as well as from brand new audiences
  • With data and analytics, you track what type of content works best and adapt it into our strategy
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence and relevant communities with implemented lead generation plans
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Develop influencer networks for the brand
  • Implement best practices and ensure consistency across the brand


  • BA/BS degree or similar qualification
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience
  • You know not only how to generate likes and shares, but how social media fits into the business strategy
  • Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to make decisions
  • Ability to adapt to trends into our industry
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with HubSpot, Hootsuite, and similar tools is a plus
  • Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation marketing, inbound marketing, and blogging

What does your typical day look like?

There are days I’m conducting research or brainstorming ways to enhance our events. Other days I’m in the weeds coordinating logistics for conferences. I can be video chatting with my team in Germany or meeting with colleagues in our office to better understand how I can support company growth. Some days I am far from all this, attending an event.
