Description:

Brand Networks is currently seeking a Social Media Buyer (Analyst, Media Operations) with exceptional quantitative and analytical skills to oversee tactical implementation and strategy for Brand Networks clients. These individuals are the “portfolio managers” for groups of accounts in our Social and Digital practices. In this role, the Analyst, Media Operations will leverage the native platforms as well as Brand Networks proprietary Automation platform to effectively optimize campaigns, ensuring that campaigns meet and exceed performance goals. The Analyst, Media Operations will work directly with other Brand Networks teams to understand and implement campaign requirements on the front-end, manage optimization within and across campaigns to meet client objectives, and translate the resulting performance and insights back out to clients and to the media solutions teams. This person should not only have strong analytical skills and have a thirst for critical thinking, but they should also have strong general problem-solving skills to deal with new challenges as they arise, excellent communication skills to impart critical information to a broad non-quantitative audience and enjoy working in teams.

Description:

  • Provide inputs and guidance around campaign design, including requirements for success and optimal use of both native platforms & BN’s proprietary Iris technology to achieve client goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign management across all campaigns and supply sources, including performance monitoring, identifying and implementing enhancements, issue identification and escalation.
  • Monitoring daily campaign pacing and performance to exceed client KPIs and expectations. Will be responsible to vocalize delivery & or performance concerns to larger account team.
  • Work with Data & Reporting teams to facilitate reporting and ad hoc analysis.
  • Work with Media Solutions teams to understand goals, address client needs, and communicate results and insights back to clients.
  • Brainstorming and implementing new ways to improve advertising and engagement on Display & Video supplies, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and any other mediums for clients.
  • Strong participant in internal communication during all phases of an active campaigns lifecycle.
  • Provide subject matter expertise & tactical strategic recommendations to Brand Network teams and clients.
  • Participating in both Sales & Account meetings with clients.
  • Work to gather best practices and share across teams.
  • Provide feedback and input for Product Development effort.
  • Maintain strong relationship with BN India & Rochester Ad Operations teams & work to seamlessly develop cross-office process that results in optimal performance for clients.
  • Properly follow processes in order to ensure the quality of work across execution, reporting, and general analysis.
  • Heavy QA involvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent field of study.
  • 2+ years of direct paid social media experience required; experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency preferred.
  • Interest in learning direct digital or social media buying. Hands-on experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a media planning or buying position at an advertising or media agency preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills: comfort with pivot tables is a MUST.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking ability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with an ever-changing environment.
  • Energetic, driven to succeed, team player.
