HubSpot is looking for a world-class nurturing and automation expert to join our Global Email & Messaging Team. Working closely with our international marketers, growth marketing and product teams, this person will work to build the best user experience in the marketing & sales industry.

In this role, you will be charged with leveraging your expertise in email marketing/and or lead nurturing to connect users with the right resources at the right time. You will be working across regions, channels and mediums to find how HubSpot can provide the most value to every contact who enters our database as we make the critical shift to freemium.

This job is a great fit for you if you share our belief that despite automation, communications from companies should always be relevant, helpful and human. Similarly, you should be motivated by the idea of using communications to bridge the gap between marketing messages and product capabilities. The right candidate should also be inspired by the challenge of writing a new playbook for a well established marketing tactic.

In this role, you'll get to:

  • Work with larger team to identify areas of growth and opportunity across our lead and free user database
  • Identify high intent actions across product, content & academy behavior based on conversion rate and MRR
  • Help to run experimental campaigns across channels like SMS, live video, chat and more
  • Work closely with regional marketers to identify regional nuances for our users & solve for them
  • Create structure around, organize and communicate experiments to larger marketing & product team
  • Find opportunities for optimization and automation across current campaigns
  • Write and design automated nurturing flows
  • Work alongside our content and educational teams to develop highly engaging content to be used in nurturing
  • Work with the product team to ensure that in-app onboarding experience is aligned with any automation we build
  • Track and measure all results through Amplitude and Looker and be able to suggest next steps based on that data

We’re looking for people who:

    • Have expertise in email marketing and/or lead nurturing. Can you talk about campaigns you’ve run that turn people from leads into MQLs? Or otherwise move people to the next stage in a buying or on-boarding process?
    • Have an analytical mind, can design experiments and tests, run them and report on results. Will be about 40% analysis/execution and 60% content creation & writing
    • Understand the concept of a funnel and how leads or potential customers move through that funnel (even if it’s in the B2C world)
    • Have a proven track record of bringing new ideas and technologies to the table, able to re-invent and not just execute on status quo, comfortable with change and a fast-paced environment where things move quickly and change often
    • Have a growth mindset
    • Are constantly testing/measuring/learning, can talk about how they would measure the funnel impact from these campaigns
    • Have solid writing skills
    • Have left Brain + Right Brain by nature: understand data and analysis and be able to use it to create better content and copy
    • Have the ability to collaborate with and influence individuals across the organization with different skills and mindsets as their own

Required Education:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree
