We’re looking for an ambitious, driven and experienced Senior Marketing Manager who can help us grow the INBOUND event by mixing things up, creating a multi-channel marketing strategy to generate revenue from ticket sales and drive registration.

In this role, you’ll get to:

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Create the marketing strategy/playbook for INBOUND ticket registration and ticket sales
  • Be a leading voice on the INBOUND team, responsible for hitting the revenue and registration goals
  • Design a marketing strategy that includes a campaign-driven approach, focused on bringing INBOUND content, speakers and event experience to life in promotions and key communications year round and fostering a sense of community.
  • Bring a blend of data analysis to identify key trends and opportunities along with creative thinking to create and test out new programs or ways of communicating with the INBOUND audience
  • Analyze data to set targets for traffic to INBOUND.com, come up with a strategy to hit that goal and work with the marketing and engagement team to implement
  • Identify the baseline programmatic-marketing we need to create and work with the marketing and engagement team to implement
  • Write and create automated nurturing flows and once off email sends

  • You can work collaboratively with creative partners to concept supporting visuals and assets in an efficient and timely manner
  • Have a working knowledge of how an entire marketing strategy works, including (but not limited to), how paid advertising, social media channels, email, video, influencer/affiliate marketing, and in-person event activations fit into the mix.

Revenue & Registration:

The ultimate measure of success in this role is hitting the registration and revenue goals for ticket sales. In 2018 we had 24,000 registrants and we are growing.

Team Mentorship / Collaboration:

The INBOUND marketing and engagement team is a new team. The person in this role needs to work collaboratively, hand in hand with the other team members, acting as a strategic lead for marketing. The person in this role will bring innovation and drive to the table to make sure the bar is kept high on a team that has really ambitious goals.

We’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience and understanding of what it takes to close a sale online, for example in an e-commerce environment.
  • Someone with ambition and drive who is motivated to hit and exceed goals, no matter what. Someone who is flexible (must be able to flex his or her style) –for example, if we are off-target or we change direction in line with the goals of the project this person must be able and willing to react and correct course.
  • Someone who works with a sense of urgency but keeps a cool head.
  • Someone who is able to form positive working relationships within the team, with other teams in the organization
