As Statistician, you are responsible for measuring and reporting on marketing effectiveness with a strong focus on Test & Learn (experimental design), and leveraging advanced statistical and data-mining techniques for deep-dive analyses that provide the business with data-driven insights including Marketing Analytics, Customer Intelligence, CRM & Optimization as well as Web Analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage data (marketing CRM, web traffic, product metrics) to create actionable insights that can inform future product and marketing strategy
- Create experimental design framework to collect and measure performance metrics for key marketing and business initiatives
- Manage the entire end-to-end process required for these analyses including requirements gathering, defining metrics, methodology development, data pulling, data processing, analysis, insight formulation and results delivery
- Generate reports and executive presentations for internal and external audience
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in Analytics, preferably focused on Marketing or Business Analytics
- Strong expertise in experimental design, measurement, decision science, hypothesis testing and other inferential techniques.
- High Proficiency with SQL and Statistical Packages, specifically Python or R
- Knowledge of industry best practices with respect to marketing measurement
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact in a team environment
