Senior Director, Marketing - Commercial
We, at Flywire, are looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to develop and execute market segmentation and a go-to-market plan for our global Commercial Business vertical. This is a new role, in our newest expansion vertical, and we are looking for an ambitious, quick-learning, self starter who loves to dive in, learn and partner to drive new business through creative marketing solutions. We have just completed our first and very successful year of the Commercial Segment; we continue to learn and build as we go. The ideal candidate is agile, flexible and steady while we grow fast. This role will support the Sales and Client Success Teams across North America, EMEA, and Asia, and will report into the vertical as a stand alone role, while leaning on the support of the central marketing resources to deliver on marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and implement marketing programs specific to defined global market segments and sub-segments
- Lead demand generation planning efforts including production of lead generation goals and forecasts, setting/managing budget priorities, and measuring overall results
- Translate strategic initiatives and imperatives into an actionable marketing strategy aligned to target metrics
- Monitor and analyze competitive environment and market dynamics and develop timely tactical plans based on findings
- Oversee marketing automation and lead generation
- Have a deep understanding of local markets globally, and adapt strategy accordingly
- Collaborate with sales stakeholders to build an integrated marketing and communications plan to support the business to increase engagement and ultimately accelerate sales
- Leverage existing and new marketing technologies to evolve and innovate marketing strategy and tactics, improve efficiency, and increase results
- Develop and implement a digital marketing strategy, including awareness and demand generation programs across all marketing channels, to support revenue objectives
- Develop and execute a multi-channel content strategy and plan, resulting in YOY increases in customer attraction, engagement, nurturing and conversion, and retention
- Develop messaging and content frameworks, aligning content delivery with the broader marketing/business objectives, developing metrics and conducting analysis around content consumption and feeding back into content optimization strategies
Our ideal candidate has:
- BA/BS degree
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or sales, driving aggressive growth and working with a geographically distributed team
- 5+ years of experience developing a go-to-market strategy on a global scale
- Strong leadership, collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to interpret and draw conclusions from market data, turning analytic insights into business actions
- A start-up mentality, as well as an ability and interest in wearing multiple hats
- Ability to influence and manage teams without direct reporting relationships
