Marketing Lead, Carbon

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the business objectives and product road map, with the ability to act as a strategic partner to the offer and product teams

    • Operate as the strategic interlock connecting the brand to each offering
    • Guide execution at the offer and brand levels to ensure consistency and alignment across the business

     Develop offer level marketing strategies and plans that leverage the existing marketing portfolio strategy and support offer objectives

      • Drive representation of the offer marketing plan within the overall marketing plan
      • Guide the process to develop positioning, ensuring it fits within the overall brand strategy and brand message map
      • Consult with offer team on development of additional assets (sales, internal comms, etc.) to ensure consistency of messaging 
      • Develop creative briefs to bring messaging to life across channels 

      Develop a deep understanding of customers by analyzing existing data and conducting research to define/refine customer journey maps at the brand and offer level

        • Understand customer pain points and needs; identify areas where further research is needed, scope and conduct research either internally or using third party resources
        • Leverage data to understand performance, identify areas of opportunity and provide strategic direction
        • Manage and refine frameworks, such as customer journey maps, to reflect current experiences

        Develop processes and frameworks to be leveraged by the offer and marketing teams to create a consistent and streamlined approach to planning at the offer and portfolio levels; manage and continually improve these processes over time

          • Create a planning process that effectively brings the offers to life through the portfolio marketing strategy/plan
          • Conduct internal audit and apply external best practices to develop product architecture, positioning and messaging frameworks
          • Identify ways to come to one collective view of customers by gathering input from across the organization, putting in place frameworks (i.e., customer journeys) and driving understanding/usage by customer-facing teams

          • Ability to conduct and use research to identify opportunities and enable meaningful change across product, sales and marketing 
          • Highly analytical and data-based decision making
          • Ability to drive results through cross-functional influence and leadership, without directly managing 
          • Team-oriented
          • Highly organized and able to work on multiple work streams simultaneously
          • Proven experience working within a fast-paced environment
          • Strong communication, story building, and presentation skills
          • Proven ability to leverage a strong customer insight to develop compelling campaign creative 
          • Experience writing creative briefs and providing strategic creative feedback


          Qualifications:

          • 6-8+ years of work experience, including, developing product marketing strategies & go-to-market plans in a high growth industry (CPG, Tech)
          • Experience in both B2B and B2B product or brand marketing 
          • Demonstrated integrated marketing experience with ability to hit business goals
          • Preferred agility, track record of success across industries / products

          Location

          On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
