Position Summary:
Kyruus is seeking an accomplished and driven Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to join our Marketing team. The PMM will own marketing for two major solutions – from developing crisp product positioning and collateral to running robust marketing campaigns and developing compelling marketing content (e.g., webinars, white papers, case studies). This person will also lead our competitive intelligence program.
The PMM will have an extremely integrated role in the company, working across departments to position our products optimally, drive demand for them in the market, and support new product/feature adoption among our existing client base. As an expert on his/her products, this person will collaborate closely with Sales to drive pipeline growth and velocity. The PMM will also partner with Product Management and Account management to articulate the value propositions of current products and bring new products to market.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who feels as passionately about his/her products as the engineers and product managers who build them. The right person thinks strategically and long-term, but is predominantly a “roll up your sleeves” doer with a track record of taking initiative. He/she enjoys collaborating cross-functionally and has significant experience working with sales teams to drive success.
Sample Responsibilities:
- Develop crisp, differentiated positioning for a given set of products.
- Create and maintain compelling collateral (e.g., datasheets, decks) and web content.
- Spearhead quarterly marketing campaigns and produce associated marketing content.
- Manage new product launches, including leading cross-functional teams.
- Identify candidates for customer case studies and produce associated materials.
- Organize market research programs to support lead gen. and roadmap planning.
- Provide marketing support during sales process (e.g., creating slides & other materials).
- Develop sales tools and deliver training (e.g., competitive analyses, market intelligence).
- Prepare content for and present on webinars for prospects and existing customers.
- Assist with Requests for Proposal (RFP) submissions pertaining to given product(s).
- Lead additional strategic initiatives for the company as needs arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA desirable
- 3+ years of product marketing experience.
- Healthcare industry experience a significant plus; interest in healthcare required.
- Go-getter attitude with passion for making an impact and gaining responsibility.
- Excellent writing skills and interest in writing marketing content.
- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills (e.g., for webinars).
- Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Genuine desire and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
