Responsibilities:

  • Serve as global go-to-market lead for new Marketplace software product, feature and service launches, collaborating across Product Management, Marketing, Commercial Training, Global Business Service and regional customer-facing teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach
    • Establish relationships with key regional go-to-market partners and stakeholders
    • Collaborate with regional launch leaders to launch Marketplace software products, features, and services
  • Guide regional launch teams and collaborate to provide ongoing enablement to regional Marketing, Sales, and other regional customer-facing teams on Marketplace product story, competitive intelligence, positioning, and relevant market trends
    • Develop global go-to-market roadmap and market requirements documents for product launch, maintenance, and end-of-life actions
    • Create and own global market requirements documents to inform go-to-market activities
    • Partner with Marketplace subject matter experts (e.g., Product Management, UX, etc.) to craft product requirement documents
    • Monitor global launch performance and provide in-market support, as needed
  • Share and contribute to the overall Offering vision in partnership with Head of Marketplace
    • Share Marketplace customer insights and provide supporting rationale to inform Offering vision
    • Partner with Product Management teams to drive customer-centric design
    • Build and share deep competitive intelligence expertise
  • Own and evangelize the Marketplace “Voice of the Customer” from concept to in-market execution
    • Deeply understand all customer research work to date, identify internal subject matter experts and contribute to ongoing research plans
    • Become an expert and evangelist of respective Marketplace Seller insights
    • Build new organizational customer knowledge and provide to Marketplace Offering, Product Management, Marketing and regional customer-facing and operations teams to guide ongoing activities
  • Build and maintain an organizational understanding of our key Marketplace customer personas
    • Own Marketplace customer personas and constantly test hypotheses to build deeper understanding
    • Drive global customer segmentation and support regional segmentation efforts
    • Contribute to ongoing development of broader Offering customer personas
  • Own the Marketplace customer journey
    • Articulate the Marketplace customer experience and develop deep knowledge of Marketplace customer journey, including pain points, desired outcomes, and jobs
    • Champion customer jobs-to-be-done and influence decision makers (e.g., Head of Marketplace, Product Management, etc.) to prioritize within offering, product, service, and go-to-market strategies
  • Own the development and maintenance of global, scalable product positioning and value messaging framework
    • Develop global value proposition and messaging framework for Marketplace
    • Become go-to resource for Marketplace positioning and provide messaging guidance to Marketing and regional teams, as required
    • Identify and collect compelling proof points to support unique selling points and differentiate Marketplace software

Qualifications:

  • More than 5 years of work experience
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • 3-5 years of software Product Marketing experience
  • Agriculture industry experience, a plus

Location

On the edge of Charlestown, we are within walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Sullivan Square T and bus stop is also right next door! We are currently working remote/hybrid with the exception of our fantastic Biotrinsic team who work from the office and lab space here.
