The Opportunity

As a Product Marketing Consultant, you will serve as a subject matter expert and content writer for life insurance and other MassMutual products.?? You will be instrumental in the thought leadership and creation of marketing materials, sales concepts, competitive positioning, campaigns, and more.? The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of whole life insurance and the ability to build relationships and collaborate closely with stakeholders. You will have immediate impact and the opportunity to interface with marketers and product experts throughout the organization.

The Impact

Key Responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Development of key materials, focusing on life insurance initiatives.? Product launches, sales concepts and renewing existing materials will make up the body of work.? This work will include partnering with brand creative to create polished final materials.

  • Interact with key stakeholders to obtain buy-in and improve messaging of materials and campaigns.

  • Engage product specialists and compliance to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of materials and campaigns.

  • Inventory and monitor content across products and campaigns to ensure it is always up-to-date and easy to access across multiple mediums including print, digital, social and web.? Collaborate with marketing operations to ensure proper placement, tagging and inventory of content within our technology solutions.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience positioning life insurance to advisors and consumers.

  • Deep level of understanding of the whole life insurance industry, product attributes and technical specifications in relation to competitive alternatives.

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Understanding of basic retirement income strategies.

  • Experience driving content marketing strategy with high-level understanding of the role and function of consistency of tone and voice when developing content across mediums.

  • Ability work in a cross functional team and provide clear and concise content that drives engagement from those using our content.

  • Extremely strong written communication skills, with demonstrated creative content development.

  • Proven success juggling multiple priorities through strong project management skills, and collaboration across the enterprise.
