Sense is looking for a thoughtful and creative B2C Product and Consumer Marketing Manager who will help build awareness, drive customer engagement, and eCommerce sales as we create a new market category critical to climate action.

As Sense’s Product and Consumer Marketing Manager you will be responsible for understanding our customers and prospects, developing messaging, product launch marketing, and promotional campaigns designed to drive consumer sales.

Who You Are

Versatile: You drive and foster campaign ideas while using analytics to read results and adjust. You’re able to go from the big picture to the details of a campaign.

Tech-savvy: You’re able to quickly understand new technologies and articulate them into benefits that resonate with customers. You’re familiar with the IoT/smart home landscape and the early technology adopters who embrace it.

Customer-focused: You have consumer marketing experience, connecting customer insights and key product benefits to build effective prospecting campaigns and communications.

Creative: You are a competent copywriter, able to craft innovative stories and messages that address customer needs and pain points and align with business objectives.

Driven and Independent: You enjoy working in an environment that empowers you to act and own your scope. You’re self-motivated, hard-working, and comfortable working on multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and coordinating marketing team development of go-to-market strategies and tactics in support of product launches.
  • Developing awareness campaigns that attract qualified prospects and drive eCommerce sales.
  • Educating prospects and increasing conversion through the web experience and nurture channels.
  • Assisting in promotional planning and driving flawless execution.
  • Partnering with creative resources to elevate and execute on brand.
  • Collaborating with Marketing Analytics to optimize acquisition campaigns.
  • Working closely with all aspects of the business to gather product and consumer insight.

Requirements

  • 8+ years marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing product launches, marketing campaigns, communications and go-to-market initiatives
  • A strong writer, experienced writing copy and creating product messaging.
  • Consumer technology experience – able to understand technical aspects of our product and engage our early adopter tech community.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in project or program management, well-organized, and execution-oriented.
  • BA or BS required, MBA a plus.
