PR ACCOUNT MANAGER - US Market

L’AGENCERP WAS BORN TO REVEAL TECHNOLOGY PIONEERS TO THE WORLD. 

As one of France's leading PR firms, L’AgenceRP works with some of the most exciting tech and medtech start-ups in France and Europe. We are opening a new office in Boston to expand our presence in the US. 

We are looking for an ambitious, rigorous, and creative account manager to help us build out this new office. You will tailor and manage American PR strategies for our primarily French clients looking to expand their presence in the US.

This Boston-based position is an exciting opportunity to help us establish our first international office, and you will report directly to the CEO and founder, Natacha.

Your role with L'AgenceRP

Media relations

  • Understand and follow the news cycle, positioning clients and products within the wider news narrative
  • Oversee all media relations activity on behalf of the client, maintaining key media contacts for campaigns and projects
  • Build, maintain and develop productive relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers and analysts across national, trade and vertical media channels
  • Utilize your network to create and maximize client coverage, advising on long-form and short-term narratives
  • Maintain and promote a sound understanding of current affairs relevant to the industry and the wider news context
  • Deploy rapid response to breaking news on behalf of clients, reacting quickly to emerging stories in line with client profiles

Client relations

  • Manage all communication with the client and ensure deadlines and service agreements are met consistently by the team
  • Work closely with the client to regularly review account performance, identifying and communicating opportunities 
  • Add value to new business pitches by providing support with coordination, content generation and presentation preparation, in addition to attendance and support during pitch meetings
  • Schedule, organize and run regular client meetings and calls, providing consultative advice on tactical communications activity

Content Development

  • Oversee and provide content creation for campaigns and projects including press releases, articles, blog entries, and other written material
  • Draft - and oversee the drafting of - a broad range of written materials including biographies, briefing documents, media alerts, soundbites, Q&As, backgrounders and boilerplates, ensuring a consistent level of high quality content
  • Work with content experts to improve knowledge of techniques and writing styles across multiple channels and platforms

About you

  • 3 to 5 years  experience working in a B2B, corporate communication agency
  • Proven written ability in English 
  • Client centric
  • Thorough knowledge of media: print and broadcast
  • Ability to interact with confidence at board-level with clients
