About the Partner Program
In the last two years, Drift has grown to over 350 channel partners globally with one of the fastest growing channel programs in B2B SaaS. These partners include marketing and demand generation agencies, consultants, and systems integrators. Additionally, we have Strategic Alliances with a handful of technology companies like Adobe, where Drift was awarded Technology Partner of the Year in 2019. Our goal is to create a $100M partner program and create the best partner program in B2B SaaS while rapidly expanding into the Enterprise.
About the team
This role sits on the Drift marketing team and reports to our VP of Content & Community, Mark Kilens. You’ll work alongside the marketing team, partner team, and Drift alliance & channel partners to drive awareness, education, and action from the Drift partner ecosystem.
You’ll design, write, and create enablement content and training from start to finish. Outlining and filming video content, online training classes, building certification courses, building co-marketing campaigns, writing customer stories, creating materials such as slides and sourcing customers examples designed for channel partners and our core alliances. Just as important, you’ll also work closely with partners and their customers to develop feedback loops for improving the customer experience delivered by partners and the foundational engine for partner marketing.
About you and what type of skills you’ll need
- 5+ years in marketing functions that include content, product marketing, and training
- 3+ years of channel &/or alliances experience
- You love, and have a background of, creating programs from basecamp to the summit
- You’re obsessed with learning from customers and partners
- You’re deeply passionate about helping partners grow a new line of business
- You love creating things and learning from what you create
- You're passionate about teaching others
- You love learning and have a curious mindset
- You have strong writing skills and can apply feedback accurately and consistently
- You have strong organizational and project management skills
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and aren’t afraid of video
- You're comfortable, lively, and engaging on camera
What you’ll be doing on the team
In one month you’ll…
Be converting our large library of existing content, assets, and trainings into a channel specific track, an Adobe specific track, and begin a nurture journey to channel partners and Adobe sellers. You will write additional content, edit, and ship your first training class for Drift Partners and enablement kit for Adobe sellers. You’ll work closely with Channel Account Managers, Alliance Managers, and Partners to identify the highest impact training, enablement resources and processes to deliver your first major ship. By the end of month one, you’ll have an understanding of how to help Partners drive demand from the market for Conversational Marketing, their strategy, and optimization services.
By month 3 you’ll…
Regularly ship Partner Training classes, nurture campaigns, enablement, co-marketing campaigns and keep existing classes up-to-date. You will ship your first Drift Partner certification course. You’ll also ship the first version of Drift Partner Tiers.
By month 6 you’ll…
You’ll own the resell rate, partner lead velocity, and pipeline contribution percentage to our direct team from our channel and alliance partners. You will build our first partner co-marketing engine and onboarding for our channel partners and Adobe sellers to have a clear process to Go-To-Market with Drift. You will also achieve 25% of pipeline contribution through your alliance and channel ecosystem.
