If you’re highly motivated by results and enjoy experimenting with new marketing channels, this role is for you. We’re looking for an analytical, driven and energetic digital marketer to own our paid marketing programs and drive brand awareness, lead conversion, and qualified opportunities. 

Snyk's mission is to help developers use open source code and stay secure. Our service enables developers and enterprise security teams to continuously find and fix vulnerable dependencies without slowing down, seamlessly integrating into Dev & DevOps workflows. The use of open source is booming, but security is a key concern - and we are committed to making it more secure. 

We have more than 300,000 developers using Snyk globally with great enterprise customers on board (including Google, Netflix and New Relic ). We also recently raised $22m from top VC firms (including Accel and Google Ventures) -  we’re experiencing rapid growth and we want you to join us! 

Your role

You'll take ownership of our paid marketing program management and optimization. Our growth is primarily inbound, through a bottoms-up motion from individual developers signing up for Snyk freemium and a top down interest of security decision makers. You will be focused on expanding our reach and opening new paid channels, targeting both personas through independent, targeted campaigns. 

You’ll spend your time:

  • Planning, executing and optimizing campaigns and budgets for global paid media campaigns across various platforms including Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, Native, Display, etc; reporting weekly on results and making recommendations for optimization. 
  • Analyzing the content space to ensure our advertising content is aligned on the most relevant topics to our prospective customers across security, development, devops and open source.
  • Running experiments; iterating and evolving message, creative, and landing pages in response to the results.
  • Collaborating with broader marketing team on campaign copy/creative; taking the lead on executing and delivering against project timelines.
  • Advising on the strategy and design of landing pages to continuously improve engagement and conversion rates. 
  • Exploring and testing new opportunities and channels; increasing investments in areas that are producing the most value. 
  • Analyzing results and sharing analysis in consistent and impactful reports. 
  • Delivering maximum ROI and revenue.

  • You are able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams. 
  • You’re passionate about growing a business and understand the impact of engaging, well-managed paid marketing programs. 
  • You’re keen to expand your understanding of digital marketing and to bring best practices into a new environment.
  • You can clearly communicate your recommendations and back them up with data.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication
  • A plus (not required): Interest or prior experience in the development, open-source or security market.
