Definitive’s continued product expansion has created the strong need for a talented Multimedia Producer.
Your challenge:
If you are excited to own multimedia production responsibilities, including the planning, managing, and directing of digital content for a fast-growing company in the dynamic healthcare intelligence industry, then this is the role for you.
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing, you will work both independently and with our creative team to research, plan, produce, and direct, edit and finalize thought leadership and other forms of video and audio content for marketing purposes.
Here are some things that you will tackle:
- Pre-production responsibilities: Plans and develops multimedia stories: researches and develops ideas and budgets; writes scripts; schedules interviews, hosts, and facilities; recruits talent; designs sets, sources stock footage and music selections as required.
- Produces multimedia stories: conducts interviews; manages talent; serves as editor, videographer, and/or audio/lighting specialist.
- Post-production: edits and finalizes footage; completes related paperwork such as clearances; labels and stores completed content.
- Provides training and direction to the production staff, including freelancers, interns and volunteers.
- Participates in the design of video graphics, animations, titles, music, and creative look of shows; makes editorial decisions regarding assembly of information, illustrations, and content.
- May assist in repair and upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
- May evaluate new audio/visual equipment and direct the installation and interfacing of new equipment in production facilities and classrooms.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualities:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data into coherent recommendations
- Strong presentation skills; confident and capable in delivering and defending recommendations and other information to varied audiences including clients, sales teams, and executives
- Cross-functional collaboration competence; ability to adapt to effectively work with wide range of functions and stakeholders
- Ability to write/edit persuasively, clearly and succinctly
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What you'll need:
- 5-7 years of related production experience
- Technical expertise with all forms of production equipment
- Exceptional design, writing and editing skills
- Solid experience with requirements for social media and other media channels
