MMFA Recruitment Marketing Lead
The Opportunity
The Head of Recruitment Marketing role is responsible for designing, building and implementing the marketing strategy for our recruitment and retention efforts across MassMutual Financial Advisors. Working closely with the relevant Marketing COEs, MMFA stakeholders, and key members of the field, this role will serve as a cross-functional leader in establishing the strategic marketing plan that drives results against our financial advisor recruitment and retention goals.
Understanding the unique talent profiles MMFA is looking to attract, this role will develop the storyline and activation tactics that effectively engages each of audience in order to build interest in our financial professional careers.
The Team
The MMFA Marketing team is a newly assembled team within the larger Marketing & Brand organization. The team is being led by a new marketing leader that joined the MassMutual Marketing & Brand team in April 2021 and there are five additional marketing professionals on the team.

The Impact
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing optimization of a recruitment marketing strategy
Leverage strategic marketing tactics that offer scale across a diverse agency/firm landscape
Liaise with key members of the field to understand the key candidate profiles and the tactics best suited to recruit each pool of desired candidates (experienced vs. inexperienced)
Develop the overarching story and messaging framework that brings the EVP (‘employer value prop’) to life; determine the channels best suited for activation of the EVP to both broad and niche audiences
Drive effective and efficient marketing spend across all recruitment efforts
Teach and empower field recruiters and marketing directors to tell a compelling employer brand story that effectively builds interest and attracts the right candidate profiles
Partner with the marketing stakeholders responsible for our multi-cultural marketing strategy to understand the nuances of recruitment tactics within relevant segments
Partner with the analytics team to track the recruitment journey ensuring relevant KPIs are implemented at all stages of the process
Digest reporting and analytics to understand performance and drive relevant optimizations to the strategy
Work with the relevant marketing/tech/digital teams to drive an engaging candidate experience on .com
The Ideal Qualifications
10+ years of strategic marketing experience with proven ability to drive quantifiable results
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and programs all the way from ideation through to execution
Proficiency in storytelling – knowing how to reach and engage audiences across a multi-channel landscape
Prior experience working in a sales and/or financial services strongly preferred
Fluency in digital marketing – including social, display, SEM, SEO, email
Prior experience with lead-gen campaigns
Strong business orientation and analytical mindset
Ability to lead teams in a cross-functional environment
