Marketing Operations Specialist
The Marketing Operations Specialist will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure our inbound-marketing process operates smoothly and will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and improvement of our marketing technology stack. You will manage the lead lifecycle to streamline our funnel, oversee our technical systems to ensure data is tracked meaningfully, and analyze and present this data to inform strategic decisions. What you’ll be doing on our team
- Serve as the primary system administrator for the marketing automation platform (Pardot) as well as other systems in the marketing tech stack
- Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, website) used to source, generate, distribute, and report on leads
- Drive process improvement initiatives that impact the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of the team
- Complete regular internal system audits and maintain system hygiene to ensure cleanliness and accuracy of data
- Evaluate and present information gathered from multiple sources to inform decision making
- Maintain existing marketing reports and design new reports and dashboards as needed
- Support and implement administrative and change management activities through effective project management
- Communicate updates and changes proactively to all stakeholders, managing expectations, timelines and logistics
- Assist in documentation and training of new users on marketing system procedures and best practices
- Foresee the impact of new requirements on our marketing automation platform and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
- Collaboratively Work with marketing, sales, and executives to analyze the revenue funnel, identify trends and areas of improvement and execute new processes
About you and what skills you’ll need
- 1-3 years of experience (in-house or agency)
- Proficient in marketing automation (e.g. Pardot) and CRM (e.g. Salesforce.com) technologies, as well as familiar with integrations between systems
- Experience working with WordPress or other website management systems is a plus
- Strong curiosity, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Ability to pick up new technologies and tackle challenges quickly
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while paying close attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and successfully drive projects to completion
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office software is essential
- Wordpress experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
