Definitive Healthcare is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to advance its marketing automation roadmap and strategy significantly. The ideal candidate is a marketing automation platform expert focused on day-to-day execution and anticipating desired performance outcomes, and advising on team initiatives and priorities to meet quarterly goals. As the company's marketing automation platform system architect, this role will involve designing integrated workflows and automated nurture programs, coordinating closely with digital and content teams, and providing ongoing counsel across the marketing team based on data and projections. The Marketing Operations Manager will be a key driver of sales and marketing alignment. This role will report to the Digital Marketing & Operations Director.

Here are some things you will tackle:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Demand Generation and Digital Marketing & Operations Director to build a business plan for advancing marketing automation maturity within Definitive Healthcare’s marketing strategy.
  • Keep current with new marketing automation trends and continuously advise the organization on best practices.
  • Architect and design automated nurture programs and own the addition of business rules, lead scoring, multi-channel nurture, ideal customer profiling, segmentation, and reporting with insights and recommendations.
  • Maximize the value of the company’s HubSpot instance by leveraging expanded features and functionality, coordinating more closely with demand generation programs and analysis and the integration of third-party tools.
  • Lead the optimization of overall internal marketing processes for better production efficiency, including technology ownership and data governance. Work with appropriate stakeholders (with Marketing and Sales) to define rules and QA processes.
  • Work with campaign managers to execute campaigns and expand measurement methodology to conduct deep campaign analysis across all channels, including A/B testing, content impact, email and program success, and digital initiatives.
  • Participate in the ongoing alignment of Marketing initiatives with the Sales team by serving as a collaborative expert stakeholder.
  • Help drive the continued growth of the Marketing pipeline with an outcomes-focused strategy.

What you'll need:

  • 2 - 6 years of marketing operations experience as a power-user/admin of a marketing automation platform
  • Excellent knowledge of HubSpot or related marketing automation tools, Marketo, Salesforce.com, ABM platforms, Zoom, and Excel.
  • Ability to transition from data analysis to strategic insights and to convert analysis into recommendations.
  • Ability to build, translate, and persuasively present data to align programs and investments to business objectives.
  • While an expert in the use of a marketing automation platform, also understands the larger strategic goals of the team and uses this as a guiding principle for decision making.
  • Strong communications skills to many audiences from sales entry-level to senior executives.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and work in cross-functional environments.
  • Familiarity or experience with the B2B software sales cycle preferred.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
