HPR is seeking a Marketing Manager for a newly created position to design and execute HPR’s marketing strategy. As the first full-time marketing hire in a rapidly growing, early stage FinTech company, we are seeking a combination of creativity, enthusiasm, strategic thinking, and a “whatever it takes” mentality.

This person should be well-versed in all aspects of marketing including content creation, artwork design, media relations, social media, identifying and participating in tradeshows and event management. Most importantly, this role requires the ability to understand technology and translate complex ideas into a consumable message.
As a Marketing Manager at HPR you will:
- Design HPR’s evolving Marketing Strategy
- Own all marketing vendor relationships including PR firms, agencies, and online tech community partnerships
- Responsible for all content creation including press releases and thought leadership articles, with the ability to convert complex technical ideas to a consumable message
- Manage relationships with various publications, news outlets, etc.
- Oversee and manage HPR’s website and creative partner vendor
- Implement and manage HPR’s social media strategy
- Create/manage artwork creation including logos, diagrams, PPT slides, presentation materials
- Design strategies to grow our audience with new tactics and expansion to new platforms
- Identify and procure relevant awards/sponsorship/speaking opportunities
- Amplify the impact of market events through live sharing of updates, photos and video
- Assist with coordination of internal HPR events
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of marketing experience in B2B tech preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or related field from a top-tier university
- First-class copy writing and editing ability
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Experience with all major social platforms
- Proven ability to track, report, and map the impact of social media through analytics
- Passion for technology and marketing
Desired Qualifications:
- Marketing experience for hardware, software or enterprise technology brands
- Website development skills
- Video production or editing capabilities
