Responsibilities:
Support the Marketplace organization in driving the attainment of $5 billion in transactions
Understand the business objectives and how the role of Marketplace Manager drives and impacts the Marketplace business
Develop the marketing plan, including product positioning and messaging that differentiates the Marketplace in the market, to generate awareness and leads including key programs and events
- Refine segmentation and positioning strategy
- Develop buyer segment specific value props, including matching Marketplace value prop to buyer needs/jobs to be done
Align the selling process to the buying process, describing the key personas’ information needs for each step in the process
Created collateral for buyer personas focused on the specific steps of the buying process
- Develop sales collateral that effectively communicates value props and positioning and is aligned to each step in the selling process
- Create a buyer insights newsletter
- Own daily BAM insights to take to customers for feedback
- Produce standard product presentations and demo scripts that can be used by the sales team in a typical sales process
Develop lead generation campaigns that focus on our target segments
- Create a nurturing campaign to pursue buyers not currently active in Marketplace
- Create inbound opportunity creation
Work with Product Management to conduct market research that enables customer-centric, fact-based decision-making about future Marketplace features and functionality

Qualifications:
- 5-8-year marketing experience in a business that launched a new world (category) products
- A. or B.S. required, MBA preferred
- Technical product management and/or product marketing experience
- Has experience with and/or understands the economics of marketplace business models
