Profile:

The Marketing Manager needs to be a prolific and talented content creator to write and/or produce diverse types of downloadable content through online and offline tactics, to expand our company’s digital awareness to generate leads and inform customers on our SaaS platform.

The ideal candidate needs to possess strong writing, analytical and communicative skills, and an understanding and passion for marketing content in the EdTech space.

Position overview:

Reporting to the EVP of Global Sales and Marketing,you will be responsible for Gutenberg’s brand strategy (US and Europe mainly) and lead generation capabilities by assessing our current state, developing strategy, executing implementation, and reporting on results. To accomplish this, you’ll work closely with the product and sales teams to bring sufficient prospective clients into the top of the sales funnel for 2019 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate current lead generation efforts and opportunities
  • Enrich the position and image of the company to create an outstanding inbound marketing environment by each month driving leads and awareness on the brand and solutions.
  • Generate sales leads through programs such as webinars, seminars, tradeshows, and sponsored events.
  • Responsible to create and distribute content to promote our solutions and offers. You will focus on driving website visitors through blogs, social media, use of market influencers, email campaigns, and host webinars with product marketing and sales team. Directing customer’s attention to our business cases and success stories will be pivotal to your success.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product marketing teams to create and oversee the marketing strategy that will promote and give high awareness on our Saas offers, specifically in creating studies and informative content that’s aligned with customer’s needs and interests.
  • Target diverse markets around education and vocational training stakeholders by creating and managing the content for English speaking markets. Fluency in French is a plus. You will fly to Paris where the company has its headquarters on a regular basis.
  • Managing several projects with tight deadlines

To meet this goal, you will need to be:

  • Knowledgeable and confident to write blog posts about Digital Education and Training
  • Identify and target key influencers in our industry and markets 
  • Collaborate with external authors to contribute to our content strategy
  • Measure and analyze results with online monitoring tools 
  • Increase our visibility on social media and grow our community
  • Report and manage all pre-, live and post communication for hosted events (France, Europe, and the USA) 

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience producing content with a B2B audience in an inbound marketing environment
  • Solid experience in producing content specifically for the web, as well as channel-specific knowledge outlets (blog, Linkedin, SlideShare, Twitter, etc…)
  • Knowledge of marketing solutions for lead generation and management
  • Dual minded approach: you are highly creative and an excellent writer but you can also be process driven, think the scale and rely on user data to drive decision-making
  • Proficiency with Wordpress, Hootsuite and equivalent Lead Generation Software and monitoring tools is a plus
  • Understanding of brand consistency across a variety of media
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Lead Forensics and Google analytics preferred
  • Native English speaking with excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, well organized and autonomous
  • Position based in Boston
