Marketing Manager, Website Strategy

Cambridge or Dublin

The Website Strategy team is seeking well-rounded, analytical marketer to join our team with the goal of increasing conversion on our websites. A successful marketer in this role has a growth and experimental mindset, uses data to make decisions, and has a knack for writing compelling copy.

As a Website Strategy Marketing Manager at HubSpot, you’ll lead the business strategy behind HubSpot.com and its six regional sites, which are used every month by millions of people around the globe. You’ll be part of a rare, multidisciplinary group of UX design, SEO, data analysis, web development, project management and video professionals that report to our Director of Website Strategy. Your ideas, copy and A/B tests will not only be seen and used at an immense scale; they will also impact the future direction of the company.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to tackle big challenges alongside some of the most talented and dynamic people you’ve ever worked with, this might just be the role for you.

About the role

This role has serious, measurable impact on our business and customers. We’re looking for a marketer with a track record of growing channels and programs with tangible results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead website redesign projects for key business updates and product launches
  • Work closely with a dedicated team of designers, videographers and developers to build solutions

  • Collaborate across functions like marketing acquisition, sales, customer service, recruiting, etc. to help them educate their customers and achieve business goals
  • Work with the product team to experiment with and shape the future of the HubSpot Content Management System (we drink our own champagne)
  • Be a voice for CRO and copywriting best practices internally and externally

Qualities

  • Eager to dig into and use qualitative and quantitative data to inform and evaluate A/B and multivariate testing
  • Versatile copywriter who is always seeking to understand an audience and channel more deeply
  • Overall marketing acumen and business curiosity
  • Confidence to work independently and flexibility to collaborate with multiple business partners
  • An eye and appreciation for detail, from capitalization to consistency
  • Passion for helping our customers—small and medium-sized businesses—compete and win against their bigger competition
  • Comfort having your assumptions challenged
  • Proactively and frequently communicates with business partners and is maniacal about documenting and sharing results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects

Requirements & Related Experience

  • A track record of delivering against marketing acquisition goals
  • Fluency in Google Analytics, HubSpot and/or other website analytics platforms
  • Experience running A/B or multivariate experiments, ideally owning a full testing roadmap
  • A copywriting portfolio that demonstrates understanding for an audience’s beliefs, fears, aspirations and motivations
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and leading through influence
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with some CRO and copywriting responsibilities
