THE ROLE: Marketing Manager, Personal Shopper
We’re looking for…
A direct to consumer Marketing Manager who will provide analytical know how and marketing expertise to support our new Personal Shopper program. This is one of the newest and most exciting divisions at Rue. The goal of this service is to provide our members with a high touch styling service and inspire confidence every day by helping them to look and feel their best. We want a great marketing thought leader to help launch and drive this business forward.
What you’ll accomplish…
- Identify and action on customer strategies to upsell / cross-sell within the Rue family
- Actions required to drive positive business impact:
- Oversee communications strategy: Identify customer segments to target, establish cadence and frequency of emails, identify key messages in each communication, review results to identify and enact improvements.
- Manage lead pipeline: Work closely with customer acquisition and member communications to ensure that stylist team has sufficient leads.
- Manage Personal Shopper style quiz: Update questions, monitor drop-off, identify potential improvements, work with stylist manager to update images seasonally, performance reporting.
- Testing: Define testing schedule for emails and quiz; lead results & recommendation sharing
- Review customer feedback on an ongoing basis and elevate appropriately to leadership
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and marketing roadmap updates to Leadership
You have…
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- 5-7 years of experience in Marketing with previous experience as a mid-level manager
- Development of successful direct to consumer marketing programs
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Effectively influences and collaborates up, down and across the organization
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, command of Google suite
- An entrepreneurial, innovative, and positive attitude. Interested in “figuring out” solutions to problems or methodology for improved deliverables.
- Highly organized with excellent oral/written communication skills

- Familiarity driving customer acquisition
- Digital program management
- Proficient in a best in class Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, BusinessObjects, etc)
