Hometap makes investments in residential homes, buying a small equity stake against the home’s future value. For homeowners, this is a simplified, sensible alternative to mortgage debt and monthly payments. For investors, this is a new asset class, allowing them to participate in the multi-trillion-dollar residential real estate market without the obligations and downsides of homeownership.
Who You Are
As the Marketing Director, you will provide thought leadership to and oversight of Hometap’s direct marketing efforts including campaign planning and development, demand generation, lead nurture and conversion, sales and marketing operations and retention and referral programs. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll be a part of a small but committed team excited to building a new option for homeowners, a strong brand and a successful business.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and owning the integrated demand gen plan across existing channels and new channels.
- Designing, implementing and optimizing marketing and sales ops
- Partnering with the Investment Management team to craft content and engagement opportunities that support the Investment process
- Partnering with Analytics and Product Leadership to align on vision and approach for shared initiatives
- Overseeing Hometap’s Digital Marketing Manager to build data-driven and rigorous creative testing and asset optimization practices in order to maximize the impact of media spend, content creation, partnerships and branding activities.
What You Bring
- You have a natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organization and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and highly-fluid environment, are genuinely nice, and enjoy thinking creatively.
- You bring 10+ years of leadership experience working alongside a high functioning team
- You have deep sales & marketing ops and digital media experience with a high growth consumer or B2B brand
- You have high analytical aptitude, with experience in a rigorous data-driven environment and desire to test and learn; we are an insights driven team!
- You are creative and excited about the opportunity to surface new and innovative ways to connect with consumers
- You take ownership, are an inventive problem solver and have a high level of accountability
- You have outstanding oral and written communication skills that can keep varying groups and teams aligned and informed
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
