Marketing Director, International Canada
The International team is the fastest growing department at SharkNinja, supporting our go-to market strategy and products as we launch into new international markets. Responsibilities
- Be the voice of the Canadian teams at headquarters, representing them in global meetings and discussions when they cannot be present
- Advocate for product and messaging needs of the Canadian markets: performance, timing, cost
- Identify opportunities and risks for the Canadian business and then lead cross-functional teams to realize and mitigate them
- Identify synergies between Canadian business and headquarters and then lead teams to implement them
- Collaborate with various teams to build product road maps, ensuring marketing plan and multi-channel execution strategy are in place to maximize reach in each category
- Develop a strong understanding of small domestic appliance categories along with a strong understanding of the Canadian consumer
- Monitor and review all commercial information such as brand assets, product costs, pricing, sales performance, and product configuration, connecting the dots for on-going improvement
- Co-own the Canadian product assortment with the Canadian Strategic Sales Director by being the expert on the product roadmap, minimizing channel conflicts and maximizing NPD placement
- Establish best practice processes and rules of engagement for the Canadian market for marketing content, localization processes such as packaging, translations, etc.
- Travel as required to Canada
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; MBA a plus
- Experience in consumer products
- Experience managing direct reports
- Experience working on cross-cultural team
- Foreign language skills are a plus
